Is this the only time you tried to install FsP and is it the latest installer? Also, did you turn off your antivirus before downloading and
installing? Did you run the installer as administrator?

I tried a lot of times, no one worked. I didn't turn off antivirus but i will try now. Yes it was with admin.

The latest FsP installer for P3D should not have the error when writing to the xml file. Dan will have to take a look at this, as I'm sure there is
something else that is going on here that I'm not thinking about at the moment. This kind of issue was plaguing the earlier FSX-SE versions but not P3D.

Problem solved, i did a clean reinstall of P3D v3.1 and now it works fine.

I was hoping you wouldn't have to go the route of re-installing P3D but I'm glad doing so solved the problem.
