I have tried the new 2015 version for FSX. I understand it does not work unless FSX has SP2 as a minimum. The problem is the laptop I am
using will not run with SP2.
Is there any way I can download the older version that will work with SP1?

According to Dan's FAQ, you should be able to use FsPX with SP1, SP2 and Acceleration:

Why would your laptop not run SP2? Did you install the service packs correctly? That is quite important.

The laptop does not have graphic capabilities to run SP2. When I try to install FSP with only SP1 it says I need SP2 and sends me to

Ahh, you are correct. I did fail to remember that part about SP1. You could email Dan to see if the older version is possible at this point.
