[Solved]FSPassengers Dec 26 version wont install - marbleblastfan - 30-12-2015

I can't install FSPX for Steam Edition. The installer will run until about 65-75% then says "Error unable to extract file.
Setup was unable to extract
file properly, returned error is:'Output file error" TRY TO REBOOT YOUR COMPUTER AND RETRY"
Ive rebooted twice, ran as an administrator, deleted the current files that were installed, and i still get the same error
over and over again. I've
even redownloaded the installer but still no good.

I am having the same issue with update failing to install - log report below.

I have also rebooted several times, re-downloaded the updated file and this one http://www.fspassengers.com/download/FsPassengersX_Setup_20151228_SpecialNoMenu.exe
and still have the same issue.

have you tried rebooting the computer then do nothing but install, not starting any programs?

Hi. Yes I have tried rebooting iand atempting install with no other programmes started on a number of occasions and still have no luck installing the update

I am having the same problem and I just bought it cause the demo worked fine in the past.

I really don't know what else to do as I have done everything you mention here.

To be honest I'm a bit stumped and Joe hasn't been on to assist recently as far as I can see.
