Problem with fuel load? - CDreier - 26-04-2015 I'm flying a very long route now so I can't give the exact wording, but this is the general idea. I'm flying the PMDG 772 (FSX Acceleration using FSP2015). I'm also using the generic FSP 772 payload model with the weight & balance, loads, etc. ticked "off". Everything including fuel and payload is set through PMDG and I simply enter the passengers FSP gives me, add the destination - time enroute, etc.. Passengers are loaded in 20 minutes and all is good. But right after takeoff roll, about the time gear is retracted, FSX pauses and if get a FSP message that I can't change fuel (or something like that) even though I haven't touched the fuel in either FSP or PMDG. I have to work my way out of FSP to continue the flight and so FSP isn't counting the trip. What's happening, and how to I alleviate the problem? Thanks!!!! Re: Problem with fuel load? - Joeflyer - 26-04-2015 Read this thread: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8933 I never have the fuel message pop up after I do the procedure indicated in my response. Re: Problem with fuel load? - CDreier - 27-04-2015 Joe, I just landed. I checked and, as thought, ...."Don't show the load manifest after aircraft load" is my setting. So, it's something else? Re: Problem with fuel load? - Joeflyer - 27-04-2015 Are you saying you still get the fuel message? Re: Problem with fuel load? - CDreier - 27-04-2015 I haven't had a chance to fly another route since the 11 hour flight yesterday, so I don't know. The only thing I do know is that my setting at the time of the problem was "Don't show the load manifest after aircraft load". It may be a day or two before I fly another route. Re: Problem with fuel load? - Joeflyer - 27-04-2015 Well, if you used the 777 on an 11 hour flight without getting the pop-up fuel message then you should be ok. Usually this occurs shortly after takeoff. I always add about 100 lbs of fuel(within the FMC) prior to finishing the rest of the FMC functions. This is after I have already loaded the paxs via FsP of course. The fuel not allowed pop-up will occur then I close out that message. It never returns throughout the flight. "Don't show the load manifest after aircraft load" adds the stability to the process. |
