-FsPassengers setup ver. Apr 07 2015 started: 08.04.2015 - 02:11
-Search if FsX is running
-OK FsX is not running
-Attempting to find FsX directory.
-Checking 64 byte registry for fsx vanilla
-Fsx vanilla Directory found: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\
-Checking 64 byte registry for fsx steam edition
-64 byte registry not found, checking 32 byte registry for fsx steam edition
-Registry key of FsX steam edition not found or unreadable
-Error - Registry key is FSX but steam version was found. Trying to install anyway

dll.xml was found at D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\FSX\ConfigData\AppData

I posted a possible workaround here: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9317. Basically I copied the dll.xml file from the steam folder to %%APPDATA%%\Microsoft\FSX-SE to a location the installer looks at

This is not a valid dll.xml, it was only provided by steam to be copied to the appropriate location.
So you don't have any dll.xml, this was the case with the early installation of steam...
I'll work on this special case

Hi,
I was in the same bout exactly and after 4 hours reading and trying to fix this problem, i found the one and only solution, which is basically you need to update your
SimConnect in the proper way.

The zip file contain the 3 files that the guy click on.
But this will not solve the dll.xml, I'm working on it.
