plane crashe indefinitely - claude101141 - 01-11-2012

Good morning since a crash I had at the end of a flight my plane crashes whatever airport or aircraft I choose and the scenery
reloads without stopping. I tried to change the aircraft, to change the flight plan nothing succeeds to solve the problem unless
I reinstall FsP. What should I do to stop this nightmare!

For the moment I have disabled the execution of the program in the FSX.cfg file but this is not
the solution when you have paid for a program...

Thanks in advance

Usually if something keeps bringing up the "crash" splashscreen, then there has been a problem with the contact points between the aircraft and the
surrounding scenery. Are you using add-on scenery?

I found at last the cause of it; FsPassengers modifies the realism settings of FSX prior any load of flights and even if you have benign failures
Each time a crash happens FSX automatically loads the flight back to some time before it and the cycle goes on. It's not a general crash of FSX I had
You're not thrown out of the sim but you do again and again the same flight until I suppose you do the landing alright.
To get used to different settings of FsP I've decided prior any flight to check that FSX settings were set to not take into account any crash.
When I'll feel sufficiently aware of all the different possibilities of Fsp I'll proceed with the program settings. I suppose the fact that Fsp changes
the realism settings of FSX before any loading of scenes and flight should be mentioned in the manual. I have read it all thru the end and can(t
remember any mention of this.

Thanks anyhow for your help.

Claude

At last look, it is mentioned that FSPX does change the realism settings in the manual; it's also mentioned numerous times in the Forums here. At any
rate, you can modify some of the advanced settings within FSPX by accessing the more_options.cfg file within the FSPX root directory.
