"Static" Aircraft - iflysioux - 12-10-2012

Hi all,

I'm trying to use some of the Carenado Cessnas for my little FBO company in FS9. The problem is some of the paints I try to use (mainly the
ones I really like) don't seem to work. When I click "Buy current FS Plane" the airplane store menu comes up but there are no airplanes listed
just a blank drop down menu and the aircraft type header is listed as "Static." Huh I can't find that word anywhere in the Aircraft.cfg either.
Does anyone have an idea what's happening here?

Thanks

Did you know that you have to "Be in" the plane that you want tol buy?

I don't understand what you mean. Like the view has to be selected for the 2d cockpit? This isn't true because it works in any other view with
other aircraft.

What Apache is saying is that you need to have selected the aircraft you want to buy from the FSX menu first, and start the FSX flight in that before
puchasing with FSP. You also need to check that the paint name you have for the aircraft you want to buy isn't already purchased in your fleet; you
can only have 1 of each paint name in your fleet, but can have multiple of the same paint, eg.: UALNC.jpg, UALNC1.jpg etc.. Those would both be the
same paint, but different names so they can be added to the fleet.

The airplane is selected and the flight is started. There are no other aircraft in the company.

Let's make this simple, shall we?Smile

Step 1:Look at all of the planes in your library and select the one that you want to buy.
Step 2:Open your company manager, and at the bottom right corner you will see "Buy current FS plane"
Step 3: Left click that button and you will then have that plane in your fleet.

P.S. You can't buy a plane that costs more than you have in the bank.
