Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 13-06-2012 I was wondering if there is a way to map FS Pax seatbelt sign control to the NGX's seatbelt sign switch. It's pretty annoying having to switch both. Thanks. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Recon - 13-06-2012 Hello Mikey2011, Do you use the panel switch are just the quick button on the keyboard? BTW I moved the thread to the support forum. Post Edited ( 06-13-12 11:37 ) Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 13-06-2012 Hi there. For FS Pax ------------> I use the drop down menu or the mini-display to control the seatbelt sign. I was wondering if you could change the FS Pax seatbelt signs when you click the seat belt sign switch on the NGX's overhead panel. I don't use keyboard short cuts, i just click on the switches when i play the ngx. thanks Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Recon - 13-06-2012 Just make the "problem" clear,....if you use the panel switch for the seat belt it doesn't trigger the FSP seat belt and vica-versa? Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 13-06-2012 That's correct. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Recon - 13-06-2012 I know you don't want to use the auto sign but just to check something. Just set the sign to auto in the FSP options and then check if both go on/off before t/o and during flight. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 13-06-2012 Okay, heres what I did: > Set FSP seat belt sign to auto (from FSP Settings) > Then, as per my pre-flight checklist, switched the NGX's seatbelt sign to "ON". >created an FSP flight, and as soon as it loaded, the FSP seatbelt sign was "ON(AUTO)". >Passing 7,500ft (vertical speed of +3,000ft per minute) I switched the NGX's seatbelt switch to "AUTO". FSP remained "ON(AUTO)". >Passing 10,000ft (vertical speed of +3,000ft per minute), I switched the NGX's seatbelt switch to "OFF". FSP remained "ON(AUTO)". >Passing 15,000ft, I reduced the NGX's vertical speed to +1,000ft per minute, after about 10 seconds, FSP switched the seat belt sign to "OFF(AUTO)". >Passing 17,000ft, I increased the NGX's vertical speed back to +3,000ft per minute, after about 5 seconds, FSP switched the seat belt sign to "ON(AUTO)". > After reaching cruise altitude of 20,000ft, the NGX levelled out and FSP switched to "OFF(AUTO)". Thanks. Post Edited ( 06-13-12 16:26 ) Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Recon - 13-06-2012 Oke,......i mean don't touch the panel switch. I just wanted to check if FSP when it's turns the sign off it also turns the panel switch to off. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 14-06-2012 Ok just did a flight with FSP set to Auto and the NGX seatbelt sign was left on throughout the flight. Nothing happened. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - whiskey-zulu - 14-06-2012 I'm assuming you are referring to the PMDG 737-NGX? If you are, then they use a completely different set of algorithms etc. to talk to FS than FSP does. You will need to set the key binds in both the PMDG and FSX and FSP to be the same for the seatbelt and no smoking signs in order for them all to work together. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 15-06-2012 Correct - PMDG 737 NGX. Noted. Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Recon - 15-06-2012 Did it fix the problem for you Mikey2011? Re: Seatbelt Sign Control - NGX - Mikey2011 - 16-06-2012 Hi. As mentioned in my second comment, I don't want to use keyboard shortcuts to control the seatbelt sign. I won't be trying it either. Thanks. |
