Payload modeling - JardY - 25-07-2010

Hi,

I'm a french customer since june 2009. First, thanks for this great addon which is FSPassengers.

With that new thread, I would to speak about the payloads. If we don't modify the option "no weight and fuel update" FSPassengers do not modify the
aircraft stations with the four stations (passengers or pilot or crew) and the two other stations (cargo rear and front), BUT (and a very big BUT) if
the aircraft contening more than 6 stations, they will be deleted !

For example, the B377 (A2A simulation) contening these stations in the aircraft.cfg :

station_load.0 = 170, 36.1, -1.7, 4, Pilot
station_load.1 = 170, 36.1, 1.7, 4, Co-pilot
station_load.2 = 170, 32.24, 1.5, 4, Flight Engineer
station_load.3 = 170, 29.94, -1.74, 4, Radio Operator
station_load.4 = 170, 27.83, -1.33, 4, Navigator
station_load.5 = 680, 24.04, 0, 4, Row 1: 680#
station_load.6 = 12000, 12.94, 0, -4, Fwd Cgo: 12000#
station_load.7 = 680, 20.34, 0, 4, Row 2: 680#
station_load.8 = 450, 13.14, 0, 4, Supplies: 450#
station_load.9 = 680, 5.94, 0, 4, Row 3: 680#
... (etc B377 have 31 stations !)

So after starting a flight with the option "do not update weight & fuel", the 6 first stations are not altered but all the others are deleted.

So I know that FSPassengers is limited with complexe aircrafts like PMDG or A2A but it is normal that the stations are deleted ?

And to finish, I'll take a risk to ask if one day, there will be an FSPassengers update to correct some bugs and to improve the addon ?

Greatings from France.

JardY.

Re the update: do a search of the forums and you will have your answer.

Re: Payload modeling - JardY - 25-07-2010

I have seen some subjects about a hypothetical update but nothing very clear, but It's possible that I have miss something !
However, it will be nice
from you if you answer my question. In France, we usually say : "le client est roi" : The customer is the king. Smile

Re: Payload modeling - JardY - 15-12-2010

Since July, do the FSPax staff have any news about my issue ?

Re: Payload modeling - whiskey-zulu - 15-12-2010

If nothing has been posted about what you've raised, then there is no news.

Re: Payload modeling - JardY - 15-12-2010

I'm sorry but ... really, we can't tell that it is a "support service"...

My issues are not tracked by your service ?

I'd better stop hoping an answer from the support.

Regards... and bye.

Re: Payload modeling - whiskey-zulu - 15-12-2010

Modertors here are not paid employees, nor do we recieve any financial (or any other) gain. Dan is the only person who can say "yes", or "no" to
anything to do with patches. Otherwise support here is given by a number of users, all of whom have experience in different areas of flight
simulation. Should you want anything edited within the program, if a public thread fails, then contact Dan via the internal site PM system; when he
will reply, we cannot say.

Re: Payload modeling - JardY - 02-08-2011

Dan had a look to my problem ?

Re: Payload modeling - Joeflyer - 02-08-2011

8 months later??? Are you serious? Dan hasn't showed up on the forums for about as long. I have no idea where he is or what he's doing. You're guess
is as good as ours. You can send him as many emails as you prefer, but that's as far as it goes...unfortunately.
