[Solved]Aircraft CG is Good but Aircraft crashes on takeoff - miketait4970 - 18-07-2010

Hi

I am using a Just Flight Airbus A340-600..........

Aircraft is fine in FSX but when I start FSP (for the very first time!!) with the standard A340-600 payload model and
CG is good, but the
aircraft cannot get enough speed to climb out

I wonder if there is another payload model to use?? or if any body knows if there is a way to change values in the
aircraft files??

I do not know how to edit any of these files............. it just feels like the aircraft is overloaded but I do not know
where to start!!! and as the
payload editor says everything is fine im left scratching my head........

Hope somebody can help

thanks

mike

I'm wondering if you are departing from a high altitude airport that has higher than normal ambient temperature? This could wreak havok
on a fully loaded airplane. How about the trim and flaps settings? Are they set appropriately, too??

Is the runway long enough for a fully loaded A340 to reach Vr? This kind-of goes with Joes question.

maybe the trim is wrong setted and makes you stall on take off

You apparently didn't see my earlier post where I made the hint about trim setting Wink I was being sarcastic about Doc's reply.

At any rate, good to know Mike is back flying again without those nagging stalls Big Grin
