[Solved] Passengers don't talk - nicolasligny - 15-07-2010

In my FSP2004 the passengers don't talk. I've see in a video on YouTube that the passengers are speaking while the landing
and the
takeoff.

Just because it was in a video doesn't mean it will happen in the program - lots of things that are in promotional videos dont' actually happen. As
far as I am aware, the pax only 'talk' during boarding and deplaning.

Huh? The front page of this website describes the following about FS Passengers

•Passengers react to how you fly your plane. Hear them scream if you make drastic mistakes, and get their opinion of your flight in real time.

•This add-on includes more than 200 in-flight sounds to immerse you in the ambiance of flight. Hear feedback from your co-pilot, flight
attendants, passengers; listen to ATC chatter, music, GPWS, and more.

How can you say they do not talk during flight? Also Promo videos ethically must accurately represent a product. I have never heard of having features
in a promo video that are not actually in the product.

I can tell you that the passengers don't talk during flight as I own a copy of the program. The pax only scream if you hit turbulance or do something
really stupid flight manouver wise. The other sounds that come with the program are often user defined as to whether they occur or not depending on
how 'real' you want your experience to be. Passenger's opion of the flight is not verbal, but is visual using the mini in-flight report which has a %
happiness level - the higher percentage the happier they are.

Promo videos only have to give a representation of the product which is accurate enough to allow customers to make a decision to purchase the product,
how they go about it is up to them. If they video is accurate to the point of showing a potential user what the program is all about, then there is no
issue adding extraneous sounds or music to the video.
