[Solved] FSUIPC and FSpax - Doc3511 - 09-07-2010

Hi. i was listening to all the co-pilot callouts in the sound folder and i found out that he should call out when gear is down, spoilers are
armed, retracted, deployed but i cant hear those callouts do i need a registered copy of FSUIPC to get the most out of this game?
or is it enough with FSUIPC trial version from the designer's page

FSUIPC is not required to run FsP or FsPX. As far as the sound files go, I never have paid any attention to the ones you refer to, as I
personally make sure all of those items are confirmed myself rather than having a sound file do it for me Wink I know of one other thread that
mentioned this but it was several years ago. No adequate explanation was given and there hasn't been any complaints about it as far as I
know...as far as why people don't hear spoilers armed, gear down, etc.

Re: FSUIPC and FSpax - Doc3511 - 09-07-2010

thanks joe for your quick answer.
what i meant is that there are wav sounds in the default soundpack that refer to gear and spoilers among other intersting callouts which i
never heard inflight but id like to hear them to improve my flight experience.
Is there a way to activate them?
They do exist , they are in every soundpack even in the default one but fspax doesnt use them. why?

I think this is one for Dan to chip in on...

Re: FSUIPC and FSpax - Doc3511 - 09-07-2010

Thanks a lot guys!!! you can call this [solved]
So... They come with the game but Dan didnt activate them, so FSPAX doesnt recognize when you retract the gear therefore noone will
hear the gear up callout nor the spoilers armed. am i right?
I am not the only one with this problem then... pheww... =)

Are you really serious??!! Are you not going to check your gear down lights are green because a voice from above didn't announce
itself? There are lots of single pilot aircraft in this world....................pretend your in one. (Or maybe the copilot is passed out from too
many drinks). Smile
