Flying online - Louis - 30-04-2005

I only fly on line with Sq.box 3 or FSInn and my question is will it work with online flying? otherwise it sounds very interesting. Louis

The answer is yes but FsP doesn't transmit data to others players if this is what you mean...

The only concern we had with FsP online is that if everybody attempt to fly with high
failure setting and declare a lot of emergency controller may be annoyed by that...

FsP work with all existing add-ons or aircrafts

Im a controler for vatsim, and yes it would get annoying if more than 2 aircraft at one time declared a mayday/pan.. If you are going to fly
on vatsim have a low failure setting! Everyone gets the odd emergency not one every other flight eh? Come one the controlers work under
stressful enviroments for FREE! Just have a little respect please. Sorry to moan, im sure im speaking on behalf of many controlers!

I don't see why anybody would want a plane to fail too often. I had an unplanned engine failure the other night because I didn't realise the
plane I was flying had random failures enabled, and it sure ruined my day. Piper Seneca's don't fly too good on one engine Hunappy

Thanks, and good answer cause after i posted i gave some thought to the "annoying " statement you gave and makes a lot of sense.

Re: Flying online - DanSteph - 01-05-2005

So we can add a part "flying online tips" in the documentation where we state
to watch the failure setting before starting an online flight...

I assume there'll be a setting to set "no failures"? This would be extremely helpful for certain special ATC/IMC condition sessions online.

Re: Flying online - DanSteph - 02-05-2005

of course... you might pay attention howewer to your aircraft state before the flight
in economic mode... a bad state can lead to failures even with with failure setting to 0%
