Mid air mystery crash. am I stuffed? - dindangdo - 05-01-2010

Coming into EGBB on runway 33 following the ILS.

I was slightly high but for some reason I crashed into something mid air. No other traffic around etc and i'm not using any scenary files.

Both passengers on board were killed, pilot injured, points lost and company rep in the gound.

I take it I can't roll it back for that flight? Hunappy

I've noticed that flight sim, both 9 and X occasionally detect a crash when you're no where near anything to crash into. Around Birmingham I'd
suspect that it's one of the autogen buildings that flight sim is detecting incorrectly, though I haven't flown into there in FS for a while.

As for what happened, there is no way to roll back unless you're not recording automatically.

I found that problem with some add-on scenery. Which I had to remove, obviously.

Birmingham is my local airport so pop in to my place for a coffee next you crash there. Wink Being serious, I’ve flown in and out of that place a
lot and never had any problems even though some approaches have followed all sorts of good and bad flight paths. Therefore I’m
guessing this may be a scenery issue with something you’ve installed maybe?
