FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - EFP055 - 10-11-2009 Hi I have not found any similar problem in this forum in the last 3 pages, so I post it here: When I trie to start a flight, after clicking on "Ok-Realtime load" I got an error-message where I can click OK. But there is NO ERROR TEXT in the message, it's just a window with an error caption. This happens at every airplane in my company. If i start a new company it is working fine. ![]() What do I do wrong? PS.: I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall FSP, taken the latest version from DOWNLOADS, but still the same... Post Edited ( 11-10-09 11:47 ) Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - Joeflyer - 10-11-2009 It would help us if you stated what your operating system is, whether or not you are using FsP or FsPX, are you having other issues with any other addon,etc....you say it works fine when you start a new company, but does this happen when you try to load a flight AFTER you started a new company? Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - EFP055 - 10-11-2009 SOrry for the lack of information: I use Windows XP, FS9.1, using FsP (setup 0509) and this error occures at every flight I want to start with fspassengers. It doesnt matter wether I use an addon airplane or default cessna. When I start a new company I can purchase airplanes and start flights with fspassengers. But when I select this one company that error occures when I try to start a flight with FsPassengers. I think someting in the database with my company must be faulty??? thx for help Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - Joeflyer - 11-11-2009 Hmmm, this is quite strange indeed. Did you fully uninstall FsP by following the directions here? http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=faq&ver=fs9&question=19 Possibly there was a folder still remaining and fudged up everything. Try looking in FS9 after uninstalling and after a fresh reboot to see if anything FsP related remains in the FS9 folder. Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - EFP055 - 11-11-2009 Hi Thats what I've done except the reboot. I've just tried it again this time with a fresh boot. But the problem remains. FsPassengers is working fine, just the one company I always used with thousends of hours is not working anymore. But I have observed something else strange: Since a time ago I got promoted after EVERY flight to some strange positions like: " _ıรพ~Zu$0\" or weired stuff like that. Also, all the sudden my 1,5Bil Euro suddenly changed to -1,5Bil Euro. Strange thing is, I could still buy and fly. Until now, now I cant start a flight anymore. Is there a way to exchange the Database, so maybe you can take a look at this if you like? Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - Recon - 11-11-2009 I remember that I read something on this forum about it if you come to a serten level (C-something) that this can occur. Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - DSW334 - 11-11-2009 sounds to me like a database error indeed. No clue how to get pass this error. Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - Joeflyer - 11-11-2009 Ahhh, it does seem to be the C23 bug. Once a person reached that level, all kinds of weird things happen. I've used the so-called C23 patch but it only helps for a little while. I created a new pilot for my original company and all was back to normal. Since then, I have reached C23 again and will soon experience some strange issues. Yes, I get the same promotion after every flight. It's almost time for me to create another pilot, so Daniel, you might as well go ahead and create another pilot for your company as well. Re: FS Passengers wont start flight anymore :( - EFP055 - 15-11-2009 I have like a gazillion hours with that airline and that pilot and it would be a shame to start all over again... ![]() IS there really no way to recover the data of the database? |
