[Solved]Control problem + fuel consumption problem - Bossevos - 31-08-2009
Hi guys, after enjoying fsp 2004 for a long time i'm now playing it on fsx.
I have flown quite a few hours now and i have discovered a few issues.
One problem is that when i fly my controls are going crazy after half an hour or so. When i try to use the zoom
function (=/-) i get airbrakes,
and the airbrakes (/) have changed into the zoom out function. Thats not the worst, the worst is that my ATC button
(~) is gone. I have to
switch to 2d cockpit and manually click it on the cockpit button to let it show up. Sometimes i even lose my f3
button for throttle.
Restarting flight simulator solves it, but the issue keeps coming back. These are just a few examples.
I dont remember pressing a wrong button or a type combo that redefines the keys.
But maybe i did, does anyone know this problem?
Somehow my fuel consumption is related to the problem, the meter just wont drop. When i speed up time it does
though. Very weird?
Hope you guys can help me out.. (by the way im flying a mooney bravo)

What type of flight controller are you using? I assume the keyboard, correct?

Yes i use the keyboard for fsx, i have used my joystick before but i never got used to that.
/ is my airbrake, however when this bug pops out zoom is changed into airbrake, then i went to control options but everything is still the
same there, it says / is still airbrake but in flight it is not. Grave key wont show atc no more. There are probably more controls gone wild.
And my fuel.
This happens often, not all the times. Dont know what it is i dont have this with other games i play.
Maybe i tried to jack my seat up with Ctrl+shift (ctrl+shift changes inputs) instead of shift+enter, dunno. I'll try tomorrow i need some sleep.

Oke solved my own problem how about that.
It was indeed ctrl+shift that messed up the keyboard controls, the solution is to press the key combo again. I dont know how this is
related to the fuel problem though.
Just hoping that it was a small bug in the meter controls.
This ones closed. If the fuel error re-appears i'll put it in a separate topic.
