left air brakes - AngelT - 13-07-2009 One of my airplanes in Passengers has an stuck left air brake, suspect it is bug, could not solve it so I sold the airplane, now all my planes with air brakes in FSX (regular ) have the same problem. Could not take off...Any ideas as to the problem? Thanks for any imput Re: left air brakes - Joeflyer - 13-07-2009 Never heard of this problem before. Is there a constant brake message on the screen? Re: left air brakes - SkyAirWorld - 14-07-2009 I dont think thats an FSP failure. Perhaps a key is sticking or something alike that? Re: left air brakes - Anastasios - 14-07-2009 Are you using a joystick or yoke? Anastasios. Re: left air brakes - AngelT - 14-07-2009 Thanks for the imputs, there are no messages on the screen, using a Microsoft sidewinder joystick. No keyboard stuch because when I press "/" could see the left air brakes moves down although not all the way... Re: left air brakes - whiskey-zulu - 14-07-2009 What aircraft are you using? Re: left air brakes - AngelT - 14-07-2009 CRJ700 Re: left air brakes - whiskey-zulu - 14-07-2009 Quote:AngelT wrote: Default or add-on? Re: left air brakes - AngelT - 15-07-2009 default Re: left air brakes - whiskey-zulu - 15-07-2009 Have you tried deplying fully then retracting the air breaks? Failing that, it looks like it's a reinstall of the CRJ700 .air file and .cfg file. Re: left air brakes - gfurm - 15-07-2009 I had similar problem but when I started take off it just folded itself and everything was OK Re: left air brakes - AngelT - 24-07-2009 Replaced the joystick with a Logitech 3D Pro and the problem was solved for a while then it came back. sometimes while taking off with a CRJ700 the plane starts ascending at a rate of more than 2000', have to pull down real hard on the elevator. Most of the times it crashes. Noticed that flight controls the stab is at 15, lower it to 0.7 but it goes back to 15. any ideas? Re: left air brakes - AngelT - 31-07-2009 Replaced the .cfg file, problems persists. The right air brakes are up and left brakes down, when brakes are deployed, the left bank move up about 10 degrees...BYW it happens in both FSP and FSX Re: left air brakes - Wreck1463 - 31-07-2009 Just curious, could this be spoilerons? When in flight, if you move the joystick left, the left spoileron will come up (same thing as spoilers, just one side deploys). This gives the airplane better roll rates at slow speeds. Perhaps there is a false signal from your joystick to the left. Try recalibrating perhaps, or disconnect joystick, and see if the problem persists using the mouse or keyboard. |
