Penalty for landing at the wrong airport - pj_3 - 13-04-2009
Great program, Dan! Had the old FS9 version and now using the new one - Many thanks.
It's easy to use, and I've had four flights without issues so far - except for the last flight. Departed KSEA for KPDX, finished the flight at KPDX
and was penalized for not landing at the scheduled airport.
This used to be a problem from time-to-time with the old version, but this interface is so much better - and it's much harder to make a
mistake. The report indicates a "From:" KSEA - Seattle, and a "To:" KPDX. - Portland Intl. In the old version it would show the wrong airport if one
had it wrong - but this one is correct: there is no mistake here, Why is it therefore penalizing me with this error? Thanks..

Maybe you could attach end of flight reports to show us what's going on?

I began to get this issue recently and I have not added anything new in the past year or so. I noticed that every airport that has a helipad
attached to it has this issue. If the airport dont have a helipad it will show the proper arrival airport. For example, if I have a planned
arrival of KDFW, it will result with an arrival at (J...) which is the helipad attached to this airport. Any ideas on how to correct this other than
to not fly to most major airports in the USA and worldwide? Your help will be much appreciated!!!!

It didn't penalize you(sic) for a heliport !@#$%^&%%$#@. God forbid YOU did something wrong.

Congratulations on having a little strop while being incorrect at the same time
and also a nice way to welcome a new member to the forum 
The fs9 version did penalize you for parking closer to the helipad than the centre of the airport. So if you were 0.2nm from the helipad, but 0.5nm
from the centre of the airport, FSP would assume you parked at the helipad and give a wrong destination penalty.
To correct this in fs9, either edit the afcad to remove the helipad, or check your gps to make sure that you are closer to the airport centre than the
helipad.
To the original post, this is no longer an issue on the FSX version. You say the report says you departed and landed at the correct airports, but the
report actually records your departure and destination airport, not what you entered in the box as the destination airport.
As stated by Joe, posting the report will help solve the problem

I was only gone on vacation for two days and you let the entire store fall apart. I won't and I won't even ask why you let
