Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - Unfaced - 25-03-2009 Hi all, please do not lough, but I think this one is serious. When I load my Airplane (i.e. Wilco A32Series, Wilco 737 Classic, etc.) via the FSPX Boarding window, I select for example 12.000kg Fuel for Short 200nm trips, then FSPX loads the amount of Fuel in all fueltanks, that means 4000kg in left wing tank, 4000kg in Center tank and 4000 kg into the right wing tank. Although in reality there are used the Wingtanks first and then the Center Tanks, if necessary. So I would expect that FSPX loads first the wing tanks full and then the other ones. Any ideas how to set this correctly? best regards Alex Re: Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - TrystanV - 26-03-2009 you can actually select the fuel more precisely if you click on advanced fuel and then manually filling each tank, that works for me Re: Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - Unfaced - 26-03-2009 Really? I never figured out that there is an advanced Button. Maybe I am blind or just lazy reading the manual -g- I will look after it on the weekend. Thanks for that Information Re: Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - Cydon Prax - 27-03-2009 By the way, in reality they use center tanks first then wing tanks; this to avoid problems upon landing where the tanks under the passengers, upon an accident, ignite and kill people. Pilots would rather the wings ignite then the fuselage. It's also why in aircraft such as the Level-D763 the centers tend to burn off first, and why most pictures on Airliners.Net show the Center tanks at 1,000 lbs or less. Re: Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - Unfaced - 27-03-2009 I know this Fact, that's why I want to fill only the Wing tanks when doing short hops from A to B. When doing a long range, I do use the Center Tank first. Re: Fuel issue with some Aircrafts (FSPX) - Unfaced - 01-04-2009 btw I found the advanced Button and it worked fine for me - thank you |
