Can't start FsPassengers - ~Sinama~ - 01-01-2009
Hello everyone,
I installed the fspassengers demo version in my computer. But in fsx, I see the wellcome page I can't see the fsp start-menu ...........
I had tried a few time and reinstall it but the result is the same................

By 'start-menu', do you mean the mini-report? If you can't see it, make sure you are departing from KSFO (the only departure point the
demo allows)

So when you start a flight, you can't see the mini-report? (small blue box). Can you see the FsPassengers menu on the menubar at the
top? Could you also confirm that you are departing from KSFO and that you allowed the FsPassengers gauge to run when the box popped
up.

Damn, damn, damn. Me too, same thing. can't see any trace of fspassengers except the welcome menu. No mini-report, no fspassengers menu on fsx. I have
acceleration installed and a lot (I think) of addons but most don't work. I don't know how touninstall them without uninstalling fsx.

Oh my,
I was about to post the same problem. I thought it was just me. Please Dan, come back and expedite this if at all possible. All I see is the
welcome please print me please screen, and NOTHING else, left it overnight and nothing. I DID click Run asAdmin. I am a Windows
Vista.
I do not at all the the choose aircraft and the fsx screen just the splash screen.
I installed it again today.

Folks, if I recall correctly I had the same issue with FSPX and Vista (I have the 64bit version) and It did work once I deactivated the Vista
User Account thingammy (UAC?) which usually prohibits execution of specific code under Vista. You may give it a shot and see whether
that helps.

Same thing here. FSX Gold (Acceleration) without any addons and Vista 64 bit. I have this "please print" screen and then normal (for X
Acceleration at least) start screen with options like Missions, Free Flight, Settings etc.... Where I even supposed to see FSpassenger
flight? Under free flight? Missions? as a separate menu entry?

starshoy, it's a separate menu on the top of the FSX screen, next to addons etc. In a submenu it then says 'Start FSPassengers flight' or
so. Make sure you set the parking brakes when starting a flight.

Thanks Phil, will try again. I am pretty new to FSX though, so I am sure I am missing something. I do remember that MSFS should have a
menu bar on top
, but Acceleration start screen is wizard-like. It just shows a few buttons on the left side - Free flight, Learning Center, etc., then allows you to create you flight, make flight plan, etc. I suppose the menu can be called after any flight is started, will play with it
when I come home.
The addon seems like a very good idea, wanted to try if it is not too complex to me

the - yes - menu bar on top of the screen. In case that menu bar is hidden you may I guess right click on the FSX screen and select 'show
menu' from the menu and then you should see the additional FS Passengers menu, too
