Re: I cant see fspassengers menu - sbull89 - 27-12-2008

I have been having tha same problem for almost a week now and I am about to give up completely. I can install it and every thing
appears as it should, except the FspX does not appear in the FSX menu. I have reinstalled FSX several times and FspX as well with no
change. I am very frustarted and am begining to think I have wasted my money. Any help would be aprrecitated, Thanks

Re: I cant see fspassengers menu - DanSteph - 27-12-2008

Most probably a dll.xml problem as I had the case lately...
can you post your dll.xml here please ?

also in any case post the log.txt and FSPXInstall.log that are in FsPassengers folder ?

much thanks

Dan

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX

Make sure you can view hidden files in the folder properties.

Re: I cant see fspassengers menu - Anastasios - 27-12-2008

When I tried the demo it said that FsP was not started because I didn't have a servicepack installed.

After installation of the SP1 and 2 of Microsoft, FsP worked fine. (LOVE the turbulence sounds btw).

Anastasios.

Re: I cant see fspassengers menu - DanSteph - 27-12-2008

Seem correct, in anyway, if you don't find a "log.txt" in FsPassengers folder this mean FsPassengers is never launched by FSX.
The fault is before.

Chech that you have a file "log.txt" in the folder "<your fsx folder>FsPassengers/log.txt

if yes please copy paste here.

Thanks for report

Dan

Can you post the log.txt please ?

Re: I cant see fspassengers menu - Heusi - 30-12-2008

Maybe you search in the startup menu of FSX?!?

You only can find the FSP menu in flight by strating a free flight and then pressing the "ALT" button on your keyboard.. Turning
Maybe this will help?!?
