Steadily Reducing Satisfaction? - munfis - 25-12-2008

Im currantly trying to fly in FSX with the new fantastic version fo FS passengers. I load up the Augusta-Bell 609 tiltroter from wilco, and start
mypassengers flight. I put flaps to full (to rotate nacelles to full up), and gently take off. However, now the passengers satifaction drops
steadily. They are not afraid or anything, the satisfaction just drops to 0. Id like to figure out why this is. the wilco product uses FSUIPC to
make it hover, maybe there is an incompadability here. Please can somebody help with this, as the idea of running a tilt-rotor intercity
airline is why i bought the wilco product. thanks.

you are not supposed to take off with full flaps. On Airbus set the flaps to "2" on Boeing it's about 15 degrees. I'm not sure but maybe your flaps
are damaged due to the speed of take off?

EDIT: sry didn't see it's not Boeing or Airbus.. dunno what kind of plane is Augusta-Bell 609... but uh..i still don't think you are supposed to take off with full flaps in any plane ( unless they only have one flap setting...)

FsPX support now heli but vertical take-off require some care... many things are either disabled or much more forgiving.

VTOL is a difficult case, in contrary of reality FSX give strange "G" result when take-off (0G etc), in this case I bet you must simply make a
STOL.

You can take off with no flaps if your the pilot in command, and belive that the RWY is long enough

Re: Steadily Reducing Satisfaction? - munfis - 26-12-2008

Ah, i might not be able to use the plane with FSP then, since the flaps are linked to the tilting of the rotors. The AB609 is similar to the
osprey tiltrotor. Can't take off with flasp at 0, or the proprotors are going to gouge 2 giant ditches in the runway :P
<EDIT> I believe if got it figured after completing some flights and looking at the repots. When teh tiltortor is in hover mode its constantly oscellating between + and -1g lateral
