Probleme bei der Installation von FsP - mhermann - 15-08-2007
Hallo Fspler,
habe neulich bei einem Freund FsP gespielt und war sofort begeistert. Ich habe es noch von seinem Rechner aus bei simMarket gekauft.
Als der Key dann bei meiner Rückkehr schon in meinem Posteingang war, war die Begeisterung natürlich nicht mehr zu stoppen.
Leider hatte ich bei der Installation nur Probleme.
1) Beim Start des FSP-Fluges wurde alles schwarz. Hatte noch diverse andere Probleme, aber das konnte ich jetzt klären.
2.) Nachdem das Starten etc. im Window-Modus nun klappte, kommt nach der Payloadgeschichte (also laut meinem Freund muss da dann das Flugzeug beladen
werden) "Memory access violation" und der FS2004 stürzt ab.
Habe schon komplett neuinstalliert (inzwischen ungefähr 8x).
Win Vista
Führe als Admin aus
Hat noch jemand eine Idee?
Mein Problem ist, dass ich das Geld nun natürlich nicht wiederbekomme, weil es - ist natürlich klar - wie ein billiger Versuch aussieht an einen Key
zu kommen. Ich gehe einfach mal nicht davon aus, dass das ein sehr bekannter Fehler ist, denn dann hätte ich diesen hier ja gefunden.

Wie üblich in den meisten inernationalen Foren wird hier überwiegend Englisch gesprochen.

Max, welche anderen FS Erweiterungen hast Du installiert? Bist Du sicher dass Du FS2004 Version 9.1 benutzt (FsPassengers funktioniert derzeit nur in
FS2004, eine FSX Version ist in der Entwicklung)? Hast Du die neueste Version von DirectX? Hast Du die neuesten Treiber für Deine Grafik-Karte?
(Questions about other add-ons, if he's running FS 9.1, which DirectX and if video drivers are up to date ... what else did I forget to ask?)

thanks for the reply. I guess I just shined with ignoring the rules... sorry for that.
I'm using FS9. I was using FSX, but I read, that this wouldn't work. As I said I went trough a lot of posts in this forum already.
I downloaded the youngest ATI Driver ( the one my friend is using) and ran Windowsupdate for DirectX-updates, but couldn't find any. Since I got FSX I
should have it anyways.
I don't have any addons for FS9 and I didn't install Voicepacks or anything for FSP. I first thought that this could be "it".
I thought "Memory Access Violation" is an error in the programcode, but this would mean that a lot of other people should have the same problem.

Does the entire screen get black or just a part?
About you other problem, I feel it has something to do with your windows installation. I didn't hear yet anything about memory access violation during
the payload screen. Can you try to run with a fully disabled firewall (it usually also has component monitoring) and also disabled virusscan?

Hi,
well the screen turned back until I got that I have to (Alt+Enter) switch to windowmode.
Now the game crashes immediatly after I hit (Load immediatly). I guess that there's just something that doesn't cooperate in my machine.
As I said... I already tried a lot!

Can you check your eventlog after such a crash and write down here what is stated there?

Well,
it only gives me a memory address which is differnt every time. I ran a remcheckprogram and it said my RAM is ok.
The memoryaccessviolation is a windowsmessage. Afterwards FS9 crashes and the Microsoftreportshit begins.
