Resetting failures in flight - philbrown - 17-07-2007

Is it possible to cancel or reset failures in flight?
I thought I had all the failures disabled, but the dangerous area database was still active, and I got shot flying over the Houses of
Parliament in London, leading to an electrical failure which meant unable to lower the gear, and I was unable to clear the tick mark from
the FS failures box (it kept on reappearing when you reloaded the failures box).
To say I was a little annoyed after a 9 hour flight from Vancouver would be an understatement.
And since when are aircraft liable to shooting when flying over London???

Hi Phil,

Unfortunately you cannot reset (or cancel) failures in flight.

And as far as the London "war zone" is concerned, you'll find quite a couple of threads if you search a bit....

It's all in the /FS2004/FsPassengers/config/dangerous.cfg.
You can best uncomment all entrys (by putting // in front of each line, use a simple text editor like notepad to do this) so you can reactivate them
later if you want to.
More info is given in the /FS2004/FsPassengers/Bin/dangerous_area.rtf.
