Resetting failures in flight - philbrown - 17-07-2007 Is it possible to cancel or reset failures in flight? I thought I had all the failures disabled, but the dangerous area database was still active, and I got shot flying over the Houses of Parliament in London, leading to an electrical failure which meant unable to lower the gear, and I was unable to clear the tick mark from the FS failures box (it kept on reappearing when you reloaded the failures box). To say I was a little annoyed after a 9 hour flight from Vancouver would be an understatement. And since when are aircraft liable to shooting when flying over London??? Re: Resetting failures in flight - DBE - 17-07-2007 Hi Phil, Unfortunately you cannot reset (or cancel) failures in flight. And as far as the London "war zone" is concerned, you'll find quite a couple of threads if you search a bit.... Re: Resetting failures in flight - Veganist - 17-07-2007 It's all in the /FS2004/FsPassengers/config/dangerous.cfg. You can best uncomment all entrys (by putting // in front of each line, use a simple text editor like notepad to do this) so you can reactivate them later if you want to. More info is given in the /FS2004/FsPassengers/Bin/dangerous_area.rtf. |
