Glitch: False Penalty - revbob532 - 22-04-2007 Can anyone help me out? I'm new to FSP. I completed my 3rd flight, 2 1/2 hours!, in a Piper Archer. Good flight. Passengers satisfied. Landing good. However, was penalized 5,000 points for exceeding the 250 kt airspeed rule by 500 kts! -- in an Archer. That's not even physically possible. I should have been promoted on this flight, but now I'm WAY behind on points. Is there anyway way to correct this? Thanks, Bob Re: Glitch: False Penalty - FsP Dennis - 22-04-2007 Hello revbob532 and welcome to the Forum! I'm sorry to inform you that if you already has recorded the flight you can't remove it again. The only person that can change you database is Dan the developer of FsPassengers you can contact him at the buttom of this page just press "CONTACT". Re: Glitch: False Penalty - Valoran - 22-04-2007 If I were you (and I've been where you are before) I'd just start over. You've only put in three flights (according to your post) so you aren't really losing much. This time turn off auto record. FS is not as reliable as real life. ![]() Re: Glitch: False Penalty - revbob532 - 23-04-2007 Thanks, guys. I think I will just start over. Bob Re: Glitch: False Penalty - poden - 23-04-2007 The reason you had the penalty in the first place was probably some sort of windshear, caused by problems in the FS2004 wind computation. You can ensure this doesn't happen by purchasing the FSUIPC dll. You're currently most likely using the freeware version. The full version allows you to put constraints on how fast the wind direction is allowed to shift. The best way to go is to not use autorecord; there are too many artificial problems which can crop up which wouldn't occur in real life. Best of luck! ![]() |
