FSPassengers and POSKY Aircraft... - Striker - 11-04-2007

Hello fellow pilots!

Has anyone out there had trouble getting POSKY aircraft to work correctly with FSPassengers? I have tried nearly EVERYTHING,
renaming the .ini file, renaming the SIM line in the aircraft cfg file, but NOTHING seems to work. When I load the aircraft, it keeps bringing
up the default payload model, which then puts me WAY overweight, and I can't seem to figure out what's going on. I went into the Payload
editor, designed a new aircraft, saved the .ini file, but it still didn't work! I'm about ready to pull my hair out! I've spent many an hour
renaming files, redesigning the payload, changing the CG of the aircraft, etc.. All to no avail.. Is there a secret to using POSKY aircraft with
FSPassengers? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what else to do...

Thanks,
Striker

make sure you have the latest flightdynamic (comes with a .air and a NEW .cfg file that contains the right empty wight and stations) Look
in their (posky) forum for this. (For reasons i dont get the latest dynamics are only linked in their forum.)

p.s. oh and if you load full pax and cargo and full fuel then it is overwightened. that is correct and has to be like that.

I would of thought this would be to do with the aircraft title in the .cfg and the corrisponding name of the payload model? Wonder

It dont matter about the payload, the default or any other will put the plane way over weight as the empty weight in the aircraft.cfg will be incorrect.

You'll have to do some editing of the .cfg file, but a lot of people have gotten POSKY planes to work well. I've never had a single plane I've used with FSP for which I didn't have to do some fixes or other in the .cfg file. But I enjoy doing that anyway.
