Departing Airport - Luciano - 01-03-2007 Hi everybody, I am new of this Forum. I am using FSPassengers since a couple of years with much sarisfaction. A few days ago, after a flight in China, I got a funny error in the Report page: the departing airport has remained blocked to the same ICAO code (ZSGS) regardless of the actual airport I am flying from. Is there any way to unblock the departing airport so that FSPassengers can locate the actual one? Has anybody encountered the same problem? Do I have to reinstall the program, and in that case would it work properly again? I tried to search in the Forum, but there doesn't seem to be anything alike. Thank you in advance for a kind solution, ![]() Cheers to all, Luciano Re: Departing Airport - Dutch64 - 01-03-2007 Hi Luciano, Never heard of this prob before. I guess best would be to send your database to Dan so he can check what's going wrong. Or maybe other users who might have experienced the same can give some tips? Re: Departing Airport - Luciano - 01-03-2007 Thank you Dutch64 for your quick answer. In the meanwhile I backed up my database directory and created a new empty one with new Companies and Pilots. It seems working again now. I will check gradually if I can transfer my old flights from the back up. If Dan may be interested in that database giving the problem, just let me know. Cheers, Luciano Re: Departing Airport - Dutch64 - 01-03-2007 I will point him to this thread. Might take some days though Re: Departing Airport - poden - 01-03-2007 Hmmm, this is a new problem I've never heard of before. Another database glitch? Re: Departing Airport - Canada_Boy - 01-03-2007 Yes, I have never had that problem before either, Nor can I say I have ever seen it posted on the forums. ![]() Re: Departing Airport - DanSteph - 04-03-2007 Hello, As said I never encounter this case... ![]() Don't know what happenned, this is not logicall, the ID is checked and stored each start of flight. A database glitch seem possible but FsP is used by hundred people since more than one years. Maybe a ******very******* rare case due to disk error or such ? Anyway glad it finally work... With best regards Dan Post Edited ( 03-04-07 22:39 ) Re: Departing Airport - Flaps5 - 30-04-2007 Hi, I am having the same problem here although I have not flown to China. Sometimes all works fine, but sometimes FsP seems to be unable to locate the departing airport. I have tried different airports but at times it gives me ZSGS as departure airport. Even when I start at an airport I have arrived after a break. Do I need to add that I often have a problem with "landing at wrong airport" ... :-) Best regards Max Re: Departing Airport - poden - 30-04-2007 Wow, never fly into ZSGS i guess. Does this happen to be the LAST airport in the ICAO database? Re: Departing Airport - poden - 01-05-2007 OK, here's another thread about this issue. This has happened in the past, and isn't new: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6407 Apparently ZSGS is associated with an addon? Re: Departing Airport - Alti - 02-05-2007 Hello, same Problem, every 2nd Flight begin in ZSGS.... and the Destination is also wrong, every 2nd Flight the Destination is set to the destination from the last flight... look also in this threat: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6968 I Hope, anyone can Help! mfG Alti Re: Departing Airport - poden - 02-05-2007 The only known fix so far is to delete the Chinese airports freeware scenery, as mentioned in the thread I posted. Re: Departing Airport - pontiac51 - 02-04-2008 I had the same problem. I deleted the following files from the Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\ai-china scenery freeware\Scenery folder. Then i flew a flight i had problems with in the past (ZPPP-VGEG). This time it worked correctly.
