Flight 1 ATR and FSpassengers - piper_69 - 04-08-2005 First of all ... well done guys, this product is brilliant !! And now my question, has anyone tried out Flight 1 ATR and FSpassengers ? any problems ? Thanks & Regards Morten Re: Flight 1 ATR and FSpassengers - fruitfly - 04-08-2005 Sure, I fly it all the time. No probs whatsoever. (on the other hand I start with the engines running......) However I don't serve carbonated drinks in bad weather when flying ATR. Or I'd be condemned to listen PAX burping all flight long. ![]() Re: Flight 1 ATR and FSpassengers - jboweruk - 04-08-2005 Some ppl have had issues with engine startup, until Dan releases the first SP for FSP there is a work around to it. Search the forums and look for posts to do with engine thrust vs parking brake penalty. Re: Flight 1 ATR and FSpassengers - djsebx - 04-08-2005 During Beta tests phase, when I experienced such penalty it was because I applied throttle levers up to the gust lever with parking brake set. Which is not correct I believe, and that's what you shouldn't do and then no penalty. Another operational error that shouldn't be done is placing the conditions lever at Feather (FTH) until you start the engines. On the real aircraft, that is REALLY dangerous as you can declare an engire fire with such hot startup. On the FS Model, you will see the temperature rising and FsPassengers will penalize you as well. So, Flight 1 ATR 72-500 is compatible with FsPassengers and no penalty will be encountered for no good reason provided you operate like a pro without error. ![]() |
