Every flight = penalty - parking brake - George_L - 11-09-2006

Hello,

I receive penalty Pushing the engines to maximum power with parking brakes set is not a good idea. (-250) during every flight. I´m

I tried to switch off this panelty, but still same situation Hunappy.

My file:

// or disable somes function or penality of FsP that are not
// listed in the setup dialog of FsP because they will be used
// rarely and only by a few users...

// penality disable ("=0" penality enabled "=1" penality disabled)

Disable250KtsUnder10000ft =0; // disable the 250kts speed below 10'000 ft penalty
DisableRollOutsideLandingStrip =0; // disable the roll or landing outside landing strip penalty
DisableGearSpeedLimit =0; // disable gear speed penalty
DisableFlapSpeedLimit =0; // disable flap speed penalty
DisableOverspeedLimit =0; // disable overspeed penalty

DisableDoorCheck =0; // disable door open penalty
DisableFlapCheck =0; // disable excess flap speed penalty
DisableTimeAccelerationCheck =0; // disable time acceleration reduced bonus
DisableMaxPowerPenaltyWithBrake =1; // disable the penalty for pushing max power with parking brake

// other options

DisableForceCrashDetection =1; // disable the "force crash detection" feature of FsP
DisableForceCollideDetection =1; // disable the "force collide detection" feature of FsP
EnableTimeModificationInFlight =0; // enable access to Fs2004 time dialog when in flight

First i think you should upgrade to the latest version and try again. Furthermore, did you try with different planes?

Make sure to watch the engine instruments when starting the engines. Some engine tables are poorly done and during spool-up the
values for fuel and air are way to high. If this is the case, they will develop way too much power and thus trigger this event in FS9 when you
start them (I have a few AC that behave in such a manner).
Try starting the aircraft WITHOUT parking brake set and BRAKES applied.
