Ticket Price - SamIntel - 04-08-2006

How does the Ticket Price in FSP work? I set an economy ticket for $500, but it doesn't charge pax 500 per flight. How does it work?

Re: Ticket Price - Joshuah A. Wetzel - 04-08-2006

It should charge the passengers whatever you have your price setting as. Smile

Re: Ticket Price - Ryanamur - 04-08-2006

The ticket price is set to charge that amount at a max distance. Before that point, you charge less. After that point, you're capped. The
highest your ticket price, the less you'll attract pax.

Re: Ticket Price - charlesed - 10-08-2006

what this distance?

Re: Ticket Price - Airliner - 10-08-2006

That IS a good question. Anybody? Bueller? lol

I recall reading somewhere that once you reach a flight of a certain distance, you stop making money - rather, you don't make any more
per/pax flying further than a certain distance. But, I don't recall what that distance is.

Re: Ticket Price - scandahl - 15-08-2006

Unless it has been changed, the price is per passenger per 1000 km. If you travel 500 km you will only get half the price, travel 2000 km you'll get
twise the price. As for the distance where you stop making money I can't remember, but I'm sure it's in an old thread somewhere.

Cheers,
David

I am not too sure, but I think it is 2000nm. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I did a little searching and this came up:

I'm still not able to find anything certain on the distance, but I'm not sure I realy want to know. It takes some of the fun out of a game, to know
too much about how it worksWink
