PSS A330_200 and fuel. - snakeboy - 01-08-2005 Been trying out Fs pax now for about a week and keep slipping up not having not enough fuel ie getting this:- Flight regulations require that you have sufficient fuel reserves upon landing (45 mn); you only had reserves for 00h03 of flight. (-300). My question is how do you calculate that, say you work out the fuel for ksfo to klax how do you calculate what to add for the extra 45 mins. Well impressed with fspassengers up to now and getting close to buying it. Know the route from KSFO to KLAX like the back of my hand, must purchase this!. Manchester UK EGCC Martyn Re: PSS A330_200 and fuel. - SWAFO - 01-08-2005 Add a few extra thousand pounds. I fly the 737, and typically I'll land with about 6000lbs of fuel on board... try the same, more realistic. Also, I posted some more detailed real-life fuel information on the forum a while back, use the search feature. Re: PSS A330_200 and fuel. - olseric - 07-08-2005 A332 should burn about 10,000 lbs/hr. Calculate your time enroute and that should give you the fuel required. Then, add 10,000 lbs for your hour reserve. Also, if you're on a trans-oceanic flight, addin 10% is a good practice for the unknowns. |
