The Aircraft is already at 100% without passengers and cargo?? - ZK-PGA - 21-04-2006 Kia Ora Team, I am starting to fly an FFX 737-300 Air New Zealand model which I am starting to use quite a bit. When I go to load up the flight with 100% fuel and 123 passengers waiting to board, it is already showing 100% without loaing any cargo or passengers. Even if I take the fuel down to 60% for the across ditch crossing to Aussie I am still over weight. Can you tell me how to solve this issuue? I don't have this problem on the other aircraft that I use, only this particually model! Cheers team and thanks for the time Peter Re: The Aircraft is already at 100% without passengers and cargo?? - Drew - 21-04-2006 Quote:ZK-PGA wrote: i only answered this question today http://www.airliners.net find the empty weight of the aircraft - (infact ive done it for you - - - Operating empty 32,881kg (72,490lb), ) open the aircraft.cfg file (of the selected aircraft) in notepad change the empty weight to the real empty weight Im going to write a FAQ for this question Welcome by the way Post Edited ( 04-21-06 21:31 ) Re: The Aircraft is already at 100% without passengers and cargo?? - ZK-PGA - 21-04-2006 Kia Ora Drew, Thanks mate - I have just come back from airliners.net and will do so and see if that cures the problem. I have belong to airliners for quite a while and always searched for photo's and I find that wealth of info on aircraft. Bloody Awesome!! Anyway have passengers waiting and must go fly and hopefully there won't be any more problems Cheers Drew Re: The Aircraft is already at 100% without passengers and cargo?? - Drew - 21-04-2006 no problems i do have one question thou, what does 'Kia Ora' mean? ![]() ![]() ps, the reason you need to change the empty weight on quite a few planes, is because the aircraft maker adds to the empty weight to simulate adding pax and cargo. When you add 'more' pax and cargo with FsP, you go overweight, hence why you need to reset it to the correct empty weight - makes sense really ![]() |
