Altitude Autopilot Vertcal Speed Problem - emi - 10-04-2006

Hi all, I've noticed that when changing altitude on the autopilot (on any given aircraft) by using the very nice FSP keyboard feature (i.e. A+
numeric keys) the vertical speed automatically gets set at +/-500 fpm as opposed to the default FS9 +/-1800 fpm often resulting in ATC
requesting expedition of ascent/descent, this can be rectified by changing the V/s setting manually but I have to say I very often forget.
Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? Many thx. Emi.

Just a hunch but if it isn't a default aircraft you might want to look into the .cfg and see what the setting is for the autopilot. Some downloaded
planes I have started life with the setting at ~700 fpm which ATC didn't really care for.

I have this problem too , and for my part it has nothing to do with the original or the 3rd party airplanes because I have it with every
airplane.
