FSP sound very deep and slow - Zeder - 29-03-2006 Hello, I have reinstalled WinXP+SP2 after a systemerror. No changes made with programms; sound card driver updated to last driver. Situation: - CD Play (Music) is ok. - FS9 ATC Sound ok as well Problem: But if I start FSP for a flight, the voice (FSP) is slow and very deep. Any ideas ? Re: FSP sound very deep and slow - pdjpeter - 29-03-2006 maybe u could record the vocie so we can hear what its like? Re: FSP sound very deep and slow NOT Solved !!!! - Zeder - 29-03-2006 Hello, I could solve this problem: - found .wav files in FSP/sound directory - start one of its > requested for installation of MS Media Player - I then have installed MS Media Player and then ALL .wav files sounds ok. I then checked in application FSP: FS9 > start a flight > FSP >>> sound is now ok ![]() It seems to be necessary to install MS Media Player for this .wav files. But anyway, problem is solved. Thats ok for me. Post Edited ( 04-05-06 09:54 ) Re: FSP sound very deep and slow , still existing - Zeder - 01-04-2006 Hello, Problems seemed to be solve, but it isn't. Each time, if I start FS9 > FSP the voices are very deep, like a singer having a low voice. Here is the exact desription: - start fs9, load a flight, start FSP - voice very deep >> switch to window (fs9 and fsp are still running !!) - doubleklick on a .wav file in \fspassengers\sound directory - sometime sounds deep as well >> close application >> then click same .wav file > 'open with' windows media player and I disable 'open all files with .wav extension' as well. >>>>> sound is OK !!!!! - close application and switch back to fs9/fsp Now all voices sounds correct. Everytime if I use fs9/fsp same procedure ![]() Does anybody know this problem?? Additional question: Where is pilot logfile saved, for the case of a reinstallation. Many thanks in advance Re: FSP sound very deep and slow - Drew - 01-04-2006 Quote:Zeder wrote:unsure about sound problem, but all of your company/flight data is stored in the fsp>data folder (as said in the FAQ) |
