landing wrong airport? no way. - PP-DQA - 07-03-2006

Whenever I park my aircraft near a helipad on a major airport that has them (Schiphol, Paris De Gaule, Newark, etc) FSP thinks I have
landed at the helipad and gives me a negative score for not landing at the scheduled airport.

Try to land a 737 on a helipad... impossible.

I think when we land, FSP should look for all airports in a two mile radius (helipad + major airport) and a pop-up window should ask you
where have you landed, to avoid this kind of conflict.

It gets really annoying to receive these negative points when I did nothing wrong.

Anybody else experience this?

yes I did experience this as well... and it did drive me crazy Smile
my solution: since i do not fly helis, i deleted the helipads with AFCAD, no more problems since then Wink

Let's put it this way: FsP doesn't care where you land.

It checks where you are when you end your flight.

So.. why stop on a helipad? It'll only drive those heli pilots mad in the first place.. Wink

you dont need to stop on a helipad Smile its enough if the helipad is closer to your aircraft then the airport center...
anyhow... its really hard to position a B747 on a helipad lol
