No Reply from Support - David Frey - 11-02-2006

Hi, I purchased FS Passengers the day it came out. Thursday, I went to the update site and downloaded, installed, now it says I have a
demo. I posted my information in the help, and no reply.

I paid for this, and I'd either like to find out how to retrieve my key OR where it is on my computer.

Hi David, did you after the update enter your name and key again? Should be in your mailbox somewhere (you got it when you purchased it). If you lost
your key then please see this FAQ

I checked all my old email, and I think i Registered from my work address, which I don't have access to anymore.

I sent an email somewhere through the website, but can't remember where it was. I didn't post on the forum.

What's the name of the file it sends with the unlock code, or is it just a code? Perhaps I can search my computer for the file.

It's just an email which you got which contains the unlock code. I don't know if you saved it somewhere of course.
Anyhow, send Dan one more time an email with the name and email address you used once to register. He might be busy but will reply for sure.

The installer state clearly that you have to unlock again after update
as do also the update page.

Usually mail for lost unlock code are sent within some hours only
given that the adress email match, and this even the week-end.
(your mail was received Saturday 1am here)

I received your mail 14 hours ago only, as your email don't match
and you didn't give a Card number as requested in the lost code page
I can't identify your purchase and send you the code using my automated
application and must do all manually.

I have more than 50 mails per day so I process first those that read instructions
and provide the correct informations.

still missing requested information... Wonder

For recall if the email adress don't match and you request I send it to another email
I need the first four number of the credit card used for purchase as clearly stated
in the page for lost code: http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=contact&title=lost%20unlock%20code

Otherwise everybody would be able to steal code from you just by knowing your adress email.

Code sent,

15 hours delay during a week-end including the night, that's not so
bad for a support, isn't it ? Wink

(I rarely got any reply from most support week-end or not)

I always forget you're on the other side of the pond, and remember you're doing this as like a hobby. I guess I got kind of anxious after the
upgrade, but looks like we're squared away.
