'Wrong authorization' message 3. time - pilatus12 - 03-02-2006 Hallo, this is Peter. First, let me say that I am a proud member of our fsp-family :-) Because I have had the third "'Wrong authorization' message" after a new installation I have read the mighty FAQ and I know that there is an anti folder protection. I didn`t move any folder - allways a new installation. But: now my question: Is it possible that I lost my authorization after HD-defrag? Because there is sometimes a "file-movement". Thank you very much for your answers and sorry for my bad School-English Peter Re: 'Wrong authorization' message 3. time - Drew - 03-02-2006 simple thing to do, is reinstall fsp, and then use your unlock code to unlock again should be fine after that Re: 'Wrong authorization' message 3. time - pilatus12 - 03-02-2006 Hi Drew, thank you very much for your answer - but I have done it 3 times. But I think the problems is that while a HD-defrag there is sometimes a "file-moving" and after that my fsp switched into demo-mode. Perhaps was the HD-defrag the reason? The FAQ says: "There is an anti folder copy protection, you can not move the folder, FsP will detect that....." But what about if there is a movement through the Windows XP-defrag ( HD)? Sorry for that question: and thanks Peter Für die "Deutschsprachigen" kurz: Ich habe jatzt zum 3. Herzlichen Dank und Guten Flug Peter Re: 'Wrong authorization' message 3. time - DanSteph - 04-02-2006 Hello, It would be very strange that a simple defrag change anything to your files... !?? the defrag change things at low level not at "file level" as seen by applications... (otherwise it would be a complete hell in your disk each time you defrag) Perhaps a problem with the auth data ? Please send a mail to me with username/code ![]() Best regards Dan Re: 'Wrong authorization' message 3. time - pilatus12 - 04-02-2006 Dear Dan, pm - done! |
