Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - manierim - 02-01-2006 It happened now a couple of time flying my Carenado Cessna 206: the engine suddenly stops and the plane start to glide. Both times I have not been able to land safely (both times I was around 2000 ft approaching the ILS) and in both cases Fsp did not recognized any problem. In both cases fuel was far away from being finished and nothing worked to turn the motor back on.. it looks like a bug or a wrong beahviour since I haven't noticed anything that could have explained this... any idea? Quite weird... PS: in the same period I've been also flying the standard C172 withuot Fsp (online on IVAO) and nothing strange happened... Re: Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - Drew - 02-01-2006 hDo you have failures turned off in Fs2004 and also for the plane you are using? FAQ - http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=faq&question=21 Re: Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - manierim - 02-01-2006 Mhhh... FS2004 failures are all off... The Carenado C206 does not have an own failure system... Re: Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - WBHoenig - 02-01-2006 FSUIPC problem? And PS, your topic says Psp instead of FsP. Re: Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - crowebird - 03-01-2006 maybe it has to do with an idle problem, make sure the plane dosent die on idle test before deparute, or try not to idle on landing Re: Engine seem to stop, but Psp says no emergency?! - silo - 03-01-2006 How about the mixture? If you go to altitude and then descend for approach and don't set the mixture properly you might experience such a problem. Are you using automatic mixture setting in FS9? If yes try to disable it and work the mixture yourself... Post Edited ( 01-03-06 01:03 ) |
