say that i download and install one a computer with my unlock code. and then i get a new computer. can i run fsp on both? with the same
unlock code?

Ya, you can. This was debated previously quite a bit (it got a little hostile IIRC!). A forum search would turn something up!

Yes, the initial license restricted it to one machine. However, Dan acknowledged that it was impractical and agreed to one single user.
As Brad said, it was a heated discussion... Brad and I didn't agree in our interpretation of the license... but I'm glad it was changed because it was not realistic. Now, the only restriction is that yes, you can distribute the demo but you cannot distribute your registration code. If Dan finds out he'll block your code in the next release!

Now its just one person not machine? So that means if my friend comes over can't use FS9 with FSP on my computer ONLY? (Just a
technical question, I know nobody in their right mind would follow rules that seriously. I didn't mean give the friend either of course, that
would be wrong. )

I have some... They want to make A LOT of money. I am looking forward to Vista, however. At least they're not as bad as Wal-Mart (BIG MOX MART).

WIll, about your other thread about windows 2003 turning it into a workstation version. Think it over again, there is not much advantage, in fact, if
you tweak xp, it get's even better (for games i mean). Only if you want to use the server functionailty for other reasons, then it might be a good
choice. Also, keep in mind that after a new SP, you'll have to start all over again turning it into a workstation version.

Well, I do. I run a web server, an FTP server, and I'm trying to get a POP3/SMTP server up. I really want ASP(.NET); I'm planning on getting ASP
scripts up. Apache can't do ASP. And I loath IIS 5 that comes with XP. So far, I do like IIS 6, although I don't see enough of a difference, yet.
And, Dutch, the thread was actually about Southwest Airlines and RTO.

Just don't tell me what i should write or not write. There are mods here and if they think i did something wrong they will tell me.
