Buffer Overrun - dal - 28-11-2005 HI All, I have been using FSP now since it's release without major incident. Today however this happened when i was loading my pax at the ramp at Geneva Buffer overrun!!! It gave the the file as "microsoft games/flight simulator 9/ fs9.exe" It then said the the buffer overrun has corrupted the programs internal state and fs2004 crashed to desktop. I have tried and tried again to start my flight and everytime this happened and everytime it crashes back to desktop. Can anyone help please. My pax's are waiting to get home lol Regards Dal Re: Buffer Overrun - SaVas - 28-11-2005 hmmm now thats a new one. Not sure about that. Might be a time for a Google search ![]() Re: Buffer Overrun - SaVas - 28-11-2005 OK On my search I found something about a program used by VA airlines that had some issues called FSACARS http://www.satavirtual.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=147&highlight=buffer+overrun Are you using that program? There is a fix at the bottom. If thats not it have you recently installed anything else? Re: Buffer Overrun - dal - 28-11-2005 I am using OSP from British Airways Virtual which is similar Re: Buffer Overrun - olseric - 01-12-2005 Okay, two questions... 1. How much memory do you have? 2. What is your page file size? What I want you to do is increase #2 to twice the size of #1. That should help. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, let me know and I will explain it. Re: Buffer Overrun - olseric - 01-12-2005 Since I just got done explaining it... http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5666 Re: Buffer Overrun - dal - 01-12-2005 Thanks for all your help guys. Turns out the problem was the size of the flight plan in 2004. Someone on avsim worked it out after they had the same problem. Three cheers for flight sim forums!!! Thanks again to you all Dal ![]() |
