[Closed] Error - unable to find flight in Log File - AZ13 - 25-10-2005

I created a company and selected a custom flight number (3X). When I try to access the reports. I receive an error
message as follows:

Error unable to find the flight in the log file. Flight ID doesn't match.
found=MHO406 index=3X872

It does not matter which column I click to get this error. It is consistent.

I performed a complete uninstall and reinstall and that did not correct the problem. I did notice MHO was the last 3
letters on my tail
section as I have changed the numbers to a custom setting. Could that have anything to do with it? If so, is there
anyway to manually edit
the database to get the correct ID listed.

Thanks.

Re: Error - unable to find flight in Log File - GDStaple - 27-10-2005

Dan,

I have also encountered this same problem. Here's the specifics of my situation. I recently transferred my pilot to another company.
Somewhere ( I presume in the transfer), I lost a flight. Now with the exception of the first few flights I have flown with that pilot, I cannot
access any of my log entries. I also had a CTD while flying a FSPassengers flight, for the first time since the first update. This crash
happened as I was pulling off the runway and onto the taxiway at Faaa, Tahiti (ICAO:NTTA). I know that the missing flight was flown since
it was the maiden flight for the Baron I had just purchased. The company profile shows a flight on the aircraft, but my pilot's log does not
show the flight as being recorded.

Could this flight have been lost in the transfer between companies or due to the CTD I had on my last flight? Or could this missing flight
have caused my CTD? Any assistance would be very helpful. I'll be glad to send you a copy of what ever files you need, just let me know.

This is the first problem I have encountered in what has been to date, the best addon (free or otherwise) I have used for FS9.

Thanks in advance

EDITED: I have found my missing flight. Somewhere, the last two flights I have flown have been moved to a different position on my flight log. What should be flights 18 & 19 are now flights 10 & 9 respectively. I would susupect this is the problem with the "unable to find flight in Log File" error. I would like to know if this could also perhaps be the cause of my CTD?

There is several control when something is not found in the base I would say this isn't the root cause
of CTD.

Can you send to me the "database" folder ziped by mail with a complete explanation
of the problem ?

many thanks...

Dan

Re: Error - unable to find flight in Log File - Alexair - 09-11-2005

Hello,

I have the same problem:

I cannot have access to my flight logs and I cannot send them to my VA. The error read:

Error unable to find the flight in log file. Flight ID doesn't match. found=IT319AK index=IT154AK

And that for all my flights done under the company. The flights exist but I cannot access them.

I did not transfert pilot I only did 4 flights and all 4 logs have the same problem.

I send you the database and the log like you ask for the first customer who got the problem.

Can you do something please?

Thanks a lot

Best regards
