Changing the company name - Donatelo - 19-10-2005
Hi
I put wrong company name (let say that I wrote Delta Airlines) Instead of just Delta and that cause ATC not to tell
my company name
How can I fix it?

As far as I know you can not change it , but if you just started create a new company then the problem is solved the easy way.

THIS WOULD NOT WORK ! ... sorry, a problem with my ears ...
The way ATC calls you, normally depends on the entry "atc_airline=" in the respective aircraft.cfg. However, with standard settings in FSP it will
depend on the FSP flight number / callsign you entered, but ATC will not recognize the airline behind the callsign. Example: if you enter a flight
number "DAL789", ATC would say "Delta - Alpha - Lima - 789". There's an option to change the setting, so ATC refers to the aircraft.cfg, I think
(just don't know where).
Maybe someone else could explain this better, so it can be understood

Tell FSP not to let the FS9 ATC to use your flight ID, then enter it in manually via the Aircraft menu

I thought the other way around
Let fs9 handle your call id and not fsp... FsP uses your aircraft manufacturer (i thought, changed it long time ago)and if you let fs9 handle it, then it will call you by airliner name (and install edit voicepack, more options then)

The ATC wont use my airline name Keezaire. Maybe it doesnt know how to pronounce it (Keys-air, since I originated it so long ago in the
Florida Keys)

Ey SaVas, ever tried EditVoicePack? With that you can create a new callsign. Did that with Swedish Extravagant. My company. Piece of... :P
