Radio Chatter - Lunchbox3b - 16-10-2005

Does anyone know of programs where I can record the radio catter from the internet and then be able to cut the audio file and actually be able to use
it on the program itself. I m new to creating files and stuff like that so any help would be appreciated.

I happen to have a Cakewalk program called Plasma 2003 and it's pretty good at looping tracks, editing, and filtering effects. WARNING: It
is a rather buggy program as I had to update my soundcard drivers and tell Windows XP to treat it like Windows 98 would. After I did that it
works well. My Creative soundcard also happens to have the ability to record "What you hear" so your capture of the Internet should work.
Cakewalk also makes a program called Home Studio or something and it's the same price as Plasma was, $40. I really would like to
have their Sonar program which is used by top professional artists but that puppu costs a ton! With the Plasma program the wife and I
have made funny little skit shows and I've even taken some engine start up sounds that I've burned to a CD that I use in my alarm CD
clock. I wake up to the sounds of piston engines starting, reving up, jet engines starting and reving. It's fun and pretty easy to use once
you get the hang of it. Give that Cakewalk stuff a look.
