Problems and Suggestions - jamieb0202 - 10-09-2005 Hello, I am new to these forums but enjoy FS Passengers - its a great program! 1) Today I made a flight from London Gatwick (EGKK) to Antalya in Turkey (LTAI). I took off at about 8pm and set the time of arrival for four hours later, GMT 0:05. However, when I landed, (which I think was just before or after midnight - not too sure), it told me that I was extremely late and the passengers were very cross. However, I was early. Is this a bug and is there a way to stop this happening, even if you are early. 2) I cannot see the balance of my company on the company manager screen. My company is Monarch Airlines (Chartered) and because it is a long name, I cannot see the company balance. 3) Is there a way of implementing a welcome to x Airport, where the local time is xx:xx? It would make the speeches a bit more realistic. If not, and in addition. Instead of waiting until I am at the gate, can you set the thank you for flying with us announcement for earlier after you land? 4) Is there a way of including a good morning/evening into the announcements? 5) Could a method of having pre-set up companies integrated? E.G If I wanted to fly for BA, could you have a pre made British Airways to download or an option so you can have an international airline balance so you can purchase many planes for your company? 6) Could you please implement an A300 payload into the program please. Thanks for such a great program - I never use FS without it! JAMIE BIRCHALL Re: Problems and Suggestions - SWAFO - 10-09-2005 All of these questions have been discussed previously. Try the forum search feature! As for custom announcements (time of day, welcome to ...., etc.) you'd have to make them yourself. It's not very hard actually. If you want an A300 payload screen, you could always make one yourself as well. It's not very difficult either. Re: Problems and Suggestions - DBE - 10-09-2005 And by the way Jamie: welcome to FsP! ![]() Re: Problems and Suggestions - SWAFO - 10-09-2005 Forgot that... Thanks DBE! I cant see why you cant see your company balance, Ive got a company (Altair Aviation) which is just a few letters short of yours and I dont have any problems. Drop me an e-mail (it's listed in my profile) and I'll be happy to do one for you. I forget things otherwise. ![]() Post Edited ( 09-11-05 08:24 ) Re: Problems and Suggestions - jamieb0202 - 11-09-2005 Quote:SWAFO wrote: Thank you everyone. I realise that I can make custom announcements but is it possible for the program to implement it into the announcements. For example the after landing announcement can be "Welcome to x Airport where the local time is xx:xx ..." I can record these announcements myself but of course, I would keep having to change the announcement each time before I fly. Is there any way that such a thing could be integrated into FSP without me and other users having to do this. I just feel it would make the program a bit more realistic. Of course, there is no point recording each individual airport but maybe the main airports in each country. E.G for the UK: Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Stansted, Luton, Southampton, Bournemouth, Edinburgh and Glasgow to name but a few. Thanks for your help, JAMIE PS I'll use the search feature next time! Re: Problems and Suggestions - SWAFO - 11-09-2005 Jamie, Yes, it is quite easy to implement them. You need to determine which crew pack you are using (accessible in the FSP menu), then simply over write the appropriate sounds you're considering implementing. As long as the file name is the same, you shouldn't have a problem with the implementation. |
