Weight stations won't work - amenofiiv - 05-09-2005

Hi!!!
I've a problem, I'll thanks whoever can help me.
I've decided to buy the saab 340 and i've chosen the Mike Stone's one. I've created my livery and I've started FS2004 and FsP.
Well... the weight stations missed and FsP has added the stations. I had to reload my aircraft to make the changes active.
This is the problem: each time I load my aircraft the story repeating: I've to add the weight stations and after I have the message "Aircraft updated
but not recognised!" even if I reload the aircraft thousand times!! (i load other aircrafts and after i came back to my saab)...
Each time I close FS2004 i have to re-begin by the first step.

I've noticed, looking at the .cfg file, that there are many staions from 0 to 6 each time i've added the stations... (i.e. i've added the stations
five times? Well, i have on the cfg file 5 times the lines from 0 to 6 that tell the same thing).

Do someone has got any idea??? thanks a lot!

I got exactly the same problem with the same SAAB... First time I experience that. Wonder why this particular aircraft is making trouble...

Pretty sure it's not a FsP bug: the aircraft seems to be the problem, since it's the only one behaving this way...

Usually, issues like this are with the aircraft.cfg file, and aren't an issue with FSP. If the .cfg file is posted, it will give us a chance to see
what the issue is, and how we can go about fixing it.

I'm an active member over at http://www.pmstone.com (Mike Stones Website), try bringing up the issue at his forums. Im sure its not a FsP problem either,
I've gotten that error with all his A/C, but I do not need to reload it every time.

Mike's right.... the problem you're having is probably not related at all to FSP.... thus, we can't offer the level of help the publisher would be
able to offer. Posting over there might turn up a more relevant answer.

something special in the cfg might prevent FsP to do the modif, anyway the modif is really minor
FsP need 6 payload point you can add them by hand, Can you post the aircraft.cfg here ?
I'll show you what line to add. Also if you can send me by mail the CFG so I can make some tests
and see if I can correct the modif bug. Please recall the subject in your mail so I can retrieve what is it
about...

hi... im sure Dan will tell you whats wrong... but looking at the file (and not sure if it matters).. shouldnt the Station load under [General] be
under the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] section.

wow... I never saw an aircraft.cfg so uggly. Curious... I have great respect for mike stone's work
bu this aircraft.cfg is completely up side down...
