Saving progress - ello - 30-08-2005 Hi I'm about to reinstall FS2004, and all the addons I've bought for it because for some reason, lately, an error's occuring whereby my FPS suddenly stops getting refreshed unless I right click on somthing, bring up the alt menu or drag the outside world up and down from cokcpit view. So I can have the bug occur, and not see anything happening until I right click and then I only get 1 new frame. I'm not sure what's causing it, and seeing as I've installed a lot of stuff lately asking for help on all the support forums would be dumb, so I'm just gonna reinstall and hope that does the trick. But before I do that, I want to know if all my progress will be lost when I reinstall? And if it will be lost, is there some way to make a backup so that I can put that onto the new FS and keep all my logged flights etc? It'd be really annoying to lose my 100+ hours logged, on top of the 10ish I've lost because of that bug happening mid-flight. ![]() Thanks in advance! Nick. Re: Saving progress - SaVas - 30-08-2005 I would make a backup of the whole FSP folder within FS9 and save it to your DT to place it back in. Just keep in mind you would need all the aircraft you have purchased as well, including the particular aircraft folders, guages those aircraft use, and the effects if any |
