Anyway to turn off Crash Detection - Hawkeye - 20-08-2005 I fly on Vatsim and I can never tell when someone is going to connect at my same gate. It happens more often then not. So I spend 40 minutes between FS2 Crew, flight planning, and loading only to get a crash when someone backs into me or morphs on top of me. Very, Very, Very frustrating. Is there a way it can be disabled? Thanks Joe Re: Anyway to turn off Crash Detection - silo - 20-08-2005 Previously answered from SWAFO: "disabling FORCE CRASH DETECTION in the more_option.cfg file, as well as disabling crash detection in FS9 should fix any buggy crash issues. There are some problems with add on and default scenery, and also with AI traffic. It's best to simply GET RID OF any crash detection on FS's part... I don't want to ruin my flights with buggy crashes near the end!" You'll find the "more_option.cfg" in Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/FsPassengers/config Open it with notepad and scroll down to the line disableforcecrashdetection=0 and change the 0 to 1. Save it and close. Disable crash detection from FS9 preferences as well. Post Edited ( 08-20-05 17:53 ) Re: Anyway to turn off Crash Detection - SWAFO - 20-08-2005 Thanks for posting that Silo... Hawkeye, you could've found the exact same thing using the forum search feature. Thread closed. |
