Status aircraft ? - lkn - 17-08-2005 Hello, i would like to know what does it affect the aircraft when the status go down step by step, for exemple 98 % to 90 % or more... Sorry for my english, hope i'm clear thanks to answer me,gooooood flight LKarim Paris Re: Status aircraft ? - SWAFO - 17-08-2005 It simply increases the chance that a random problem will occur. Re: Status aircraft ? - lkn - 17-08-2005 Ok thanks Brad Karim Re: Status aircraft ? - SWAFO - 17-08-2005 You bet, let us know if you have any more questions. Re: Status aircraft ? - DanSteph - 18-08-2005 it also increase the hidden "degrade rate" value that set how much your aircraft degrade per hours of flight... This is another things that nobody notice but it's inside FsP.... Remember first: FsP do as in reality, your aircraft is less degraded with ONE flight of 4 hours than with 4 flights of 1 hours. But each aircraft carry a hidden "degrade rate" this is why a bad opportunities can cost you much with maintenance expense at the end, if you have luck (and often the buy advice tell you so) you have a "good" degrade rate. With brand new aircraft you don't have suprise. Now if you fly with an aircraft in bad condiction this value will increase more fast than normal this is to simulate that with a bad maintenance some piece are used more. Hope it explain ? Dan Re: Status aircraft ? - lkn - 18-08-2005 Ok Dan,it's clear... it's more and more exciting to fly with FSP !!! Thanks all the team for your job Regards Karim Re: Status aircraft ? - SaVas - 18-08-2005 Dan, you arent supposed to tell us the secrets. Those are like hidden ingredients *grins* But I have to say WOW some of the things you thought of that most arent even considering when flying around in FSP Re: Status aircraft ? - DanSteph - 18-08-2005 one time when I'll have more time I should publish some excell sheet that I used to simulate the code before writting it. with those sheet you can simulate various things as the "degrade rate" for flight hours or the income per passengers for a given ticket price... Anyway I would certainly have to review those sheet before as I made adjustment later in code and perhaps it might kill the fun ? Anyway I don't have time yet so this question is pending... ![]() Dan Re: Status aircraft ? - pagir - 18-08-2005 What???
