Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - AndrePaul - 09-08-2005 OK, Hey, Is it possible to have two pilots be flying on the same flight, one as pilot and the other as co-pilot, i started a company recently and i am a commercial pilot now, and i created a new pilot and he is at student pilot, it is very time consuming to fly over all those hours single(for the new pilot), can you create a patch or something to accomodate both pilots to fly at the same time, so that they both can have their hours grow at the same time dually instead of individually. Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - Ryanamur - 09-08-2005 Nope, you can't do that right now. Phil Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - AndrePaul - 09-08-2005 Well, can u make it possible in an update later on, plz Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - Iberiaorbit - 09-08-2005 Great idea I vote for. Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - Cookie - 09-08-2005 Yep, excellent idea! Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - pegase - 09-08-2005 Nice to read you, guys ![]() I would also like a lot the possibility to make flights by crew of two pilots. I started yesterday a thread about possibility for two pilots to share the same flight through network. http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=11954 I would add to my previous post another reason to wish it: In several occasion, it was pointed that FSPassengers add a new dimension to flight simulator with accountability. It is fully true and I am surprised by the pressure given by the passengers apreciation. But these passengers are virtual. They are in the game, they are in our minds but they are fiction. (well, sometimes it is better like this...) What about beeing acountable not to virtual persons but to REAL persons, made of blood heart and mind? Flying by team would provide this, each one trust the other to do his/her part of job and do it well. If your mate take in charge keeping the speed and the route, he/she relies on you to check the engines, and tune the nav and radio properly so you MUST do it. For long cruises, one can relie to the other by turn making long flights easyer. Last but not least, in two head, theere is more knowlegement, experience and ideas than in just one. Each pilot can learn a lot from the other. Now, let's be realistic, such network feature would not be an upgrade, it would be a major rebuilt of all the program. But it would be to FSPassengers what FSPassengers today is to FS2004: A new dimension. Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - Iberiaorbit - 10-08-2005 Sounds good, also a transportation full coverage would be awesome. Lets say a big server that represents the world and demands transportation of people and goods kinda tycoon. VAs could cover their little or big spots on the map and earn money as fsp sistem competting for survive or prevail. This way would give room for ATC players, strategy bussines kinda thing, Pilots, and many other forms of play, since publicity affects certain turistic destinations that could fluctuate in game. Ideas to improove the flight simulation can be put here but as you say in a realistic view, a lot of software development must be done. In my opinion fsp is a little big steep to the future of simulators and I am glad to be here to see it. It would be a pleasure to see your idea coming to real software and I will be the first to ask you to fly with you. Re: Two pilots to fly at once instead of one - musicpete - 11-08-2005 FSPassengers does not need to do this. You can already share your aircraft by using a software called FSNet. The newest beta will be much improved. The release is soon. You might want to try it out: http://www.gates.to |
