Wrong destination? - Polansky - 07-08-2005 Hi, My problem is that i fly only business jets and therefore park my planes at the general aviation parking at Schiphol (EHAM). Although I have deliverd my passengers on the right place on the right time.. i still get penalised because FS Passenger thinks i have delivered my pax on the wrong airfield..... please help solving this problem! Re: Wrong destination? - SE-TMA - 07-08-2005 Is there another airfield extremely close? In that case, FsP might think you've landed at THAT airport instead. FsP measures your stopping point as the one CLOSEST to an airfield. So if the parking at Schiphol is closer to another airport, FsP might think you've landed at the OTHER airport. Now, use the search feature of the forums. I believe this has been discussed (and solved?). Anyways, look around, else come back here. Re: Wrong destination? - Ryanamur - 07-08-2005 Hello both of you, The problem lies with the GPS link of FsP. FsP gathers your position from the GPS and from there computes the airport that you are at (ie: the closest one to you). There is only two fixes for this problem: 1- do not set an destination airfield for those airports that cause problems. 2- when on the ground. turn you GPS on and navigate on the airport until your destination shows as the closest one on the GPS and then end your flight.
